Art Fair Suomi starts Sunday with a meditation concert by Eero Hämeenniemi

Tickets 15 €, with the ticket for the concert entrance for the Art Fair Suomi included. The tickets can be bought in beforehand from Photography Gallery Hippolyte, Yrjönkatu 8-10 sisäpiha, 00120 Helsinki, open Tue-Fri 12-17 / Sat-Sun 12-16.
Composer and pianist Eero Hämeenniemi will improvise according to themes of Baroque, India and Jazz-music. In the concert music and the musician will encounter the listeners on many different levels and ways. Music can be a method of meditation, concentration and immersing into one’s inner landscapes.
The meditation concert lacks all conventional patterns of a classical concert: bows, applause, comings and goings, flowers. The concert can be experienced traditionally though, by sitting on a chair, but also willingly lying on the floor of the rehearsal hall.
