Gallery Duetto

Galleria Duetto specializes in contemporary Finnish graphics. On occasion, the gallery also shows sculptures and paintings. Exhibitions change monthly. Downstairs, Galleria Duetto has an extensive and high quality sales collection of prints. The Collection operates on website, too. Duetto has an established group of artists as well as newcomers.

The gallery has a history from it’s beginning (1983) in same locations, now over 120 years old New Renaissance building, on the ground level behind arch windows. The team also offers expert art collecting services, including picture framing.

Inspired with this noble thought we want to offer moments of joy introducing art from artists such as Colombo, Dickhoff, Hintikka, Hyrske, Immonen, Kangas, Karjalainen,  Krohn, Laine, Lavonen, Riippa, Sederholm, Sirviö, Tuominen-Niittylä, Ringbom, Vainionpää, Wolfram and also some artist’s books.

Art & Joy is a take away, so it lives and varies and you can stop by several times during the exhibition!

Independent tour for children

Tue 8.6.2021, Wed 9.6.2021, Thu 10.6.2021, Fri 11.6.2021, Sat 12.6.2021, Sun 13.6.2021

The independent tours for children enable gallery visits according to your own schedule and with adults. At the gallery there are two different kinds of tasks for children. In the bingo younger children get to look for colours and shapes in the artworks. In the crossword puzzle children can search the pieces for words that go to the puzzle. By showing a completed task sheet to the gallery staff children will receive a sticker as a prize.

The activity is created by Eidos ry – the subject organization for art history students at University of Helsinki.

Please note that there is also other program at the gallery. We advice you to time your visit outside of the times of the other program.
