The Arts Promotion Centre Finland (Taike) is a national funding, expert and service agency for promoting the arts. Taike together with its arts councils and boards awards grants to professional artists and subsidies to communities in the field of the arts. Annually, Taike allocates 35 million euros as grants and subsidies. 

 

Italian Cultural Institute  

Italian Cultural Institute was found in 1941. It aims to strenghten and improve the knowledge and understanding of both italian culture and language in Finland.

OCA Office for Contemporary Art Norway 

The Office for Contemporary Art Norway is a non-profit foundation created by the Norwegian Ministries of Culture and of Foreign Affairs in 2001. Its principle aim is to foster dialogue between art practitioners in Norway, including Sápmi, and the international arts scene, and support artists based in Norway in their activities around the world.

Radio Helsinki / Ystäväklubi 

Radio Helsinki is the voice of the city.  Unique, format-free music radio, that represents the sharpest top of radio journalism and music curation in Finland.  Furthermore, our programme offers versatile talk shows that dive into politics, literature, food and sports. 

G Livelab and Radio Helsinki together have founded  Ystäväklubi, which is a club for people who share the love for music and urban culture. As a member, you can enjoy gigs, museums and other events together with a friend – two for the price of one.  

 

Rooftop Press 

Founded by Timo Vaittinen and Tuukka Kaila, Rooftop Press explores publishing as artistic practice and publications as spaces for contemporary art. The artists use the platform for creating their own works as well as working closely with other artists to investigate the potential of publishing in relation to their practice and to help realize works intended for book form.

 

SoFar Sounds 

A Sofar gig is an intimate show held in an unique venue, like someone’s living room or an antique shop. It typically features three artists, playing four songs each. Every lineup is specially curated to give our audiences a diverse show.

 

The Swedish-Finnish Cultural Foundation 

The Swedish-Finnish Cultural Foundation is the largest bilateral foundation in Scandinavia. It  aims to further cultural relations between Sweden and Finland by providing support for increased knowledge of, and contact between, the culture, economy and people of the two countries. To this end the Foundation dispenses project subsidies and travel grants. Beyond this, the Foundation also initiates its own projects.

 

Finland – Russia Society 

Finland – Russia Society is the independent non-party organization which functions in Finland since 1944. The aim of the society is to facilitate the development of co-operation and contacts in different fields between Finland and Russia. Finland – Russia Society unites people with different interests: the ones interested in the Russian language and culture, the ones whose work is connected to Russia and the ones interested in the culture of Finno-Urgic folks on the territory of Russia.

 

Taide-kustannus

Kustannus Oy Taide was established in 1988. The Artists´Association of Finland is the main owner.  Kustannus Oy Taide is mainly focused on producing Taide – magazine and book publishing. We publish pieces from the fields of art theory, philosophy of art and art education, as well as, classics, artist books and other literary works of fine art. 

 

The Artists´Association of Finland 

The Artists’ Association of Finland (Suomen Taiteilijaseura – Konstnärsgillet i Finland) is the umbrella organisation of visual artists. Through our member organisations we represent ca 3 000 professional artists in Finland. We work to secure policy and legislative change to encourage the growth and development of the sector. We also provide services to our members, including training courses and legal advice on, for example, contracts, social security and taxation.

 

The Finnish Institute in London 

The Finnish Institute in London is a private, non-profit trust bringing together individuals, communities and organisations.
