Promenade Gallery is Hyvinkää Artists’ Association’s gallery located in an old wooden house from the 19th century. It is situated about one kilometre from Hyvinkää railway station. The gallery space is spread across two floors, the total area of which is 84 m². Artists can apply for one or both floors for an exhibition. Opening hours are Tue-Fri 10–18, Sat 10–15 and Sun 13–18. Closed on Mon and Feast Days.
Hyvinkää Artists’ Association’s Artotheque with over 500 works – paintings, sculptures and prints – is also located in the Promenade Gallery. A portion of the collection is viewable only via an online gallery. The Artist of the Month is nominated every month, and their works are shown on The Artist of the Month wall in the gallery. Opening hours are Tue-Fri 10–18 and Sat 10–15, Sun. Closed on Mon and Feast Days. There is a small showroom at the Hyvinkää railway station where the works of The Artist of the Month are also displayed.
Hyvinkää Artists’ Association serves its members and other citizens by providing framing services and selling a selection of art materials like brushes, pens and pencils, different kinds of chalks, watercolours, acrylic and oil colours, and materials needed for printing. High quality papers for drawing and watercolour painting are also available. Opening hours are Tue-Fri 10–18 and Sat 10–15, Sun. Closed on Mon and Feast Days.
