Varikko Gallery

Varikko Gallery is run by Varikko Artist’s Association. It is located in Seinäjoki city centre, near the railway station. Each year Varikko hosts approximately 12 professional artist exhibitions, and it is home to several artist studios. Currently, there are 8 artists working in these studios. Varikko, as an artist community and gallery, has played a significant role in the South Ostrobothnia art scene for more than 20 years.

Meet the artist: Sofi Häkkinen

Sofi Häkkinen is a visual artist (BA+ MA). She lives and works in Helsinki. Sofi loves to mix funny ideas to everyday matters creating surrealistic arrangements. Repeating elements in her work are: pop, humour, kitsch, food, nostalgia, coincidence.
